1. You are a new mother, congratulations. You will be home from work caring your your new baby, depending on where you live up to a year or more. You know many days you will have a couple of hours when you don't need to sleep and the baby will be sleeping. You really want a home business that will fit your schedule, provide extra adult stimulation, where you get to talk to other adults, and of course help out financially.
2. You have been layed off or downsized or otherwise uncertain about your family's income. You need to establish a growing income. You still have income to eat with but you don't have much to invest in your business. You do have time and some funds to get things rolling but you need to see some payback within a few weeks or a few months.
You may have been attracted, we ALL have been, to the ads saying make lots of money in a short period of time, do nothing we do it all, crap that you see all the time. If you are still of that frame of mine, save this email, because you WILL WANT it later when you are fed up with everything, poorer and hopefully a little wiser. At that time you will think everyone who runs an online business from home is a crook and that everyone wants to steal your money. Hey, %%firstname%%, some of that is true. Some shoe stores, grocery stores and auto repair places are also crook but that doesn't stop you from buying shoes, groceries or getting your car fixed, does it?

Establishing your business at home successfully involves promotion. The easiest way of doing this is by increasing your personal and business visibility on the web. What ever you do people should be able to find you. Previously everyone depended on the Yellow Pages, remember them. Still got them, haven't used them myself in year, then I live in an isolated area. But when I go to a city I still don't use them. I use the web to find what I want. Almost everyone does.
Now if you are selling pizza or something where you get many call in orders, like rug cleaning I can understand using the Yellow Pages. But really most home based businesses are much better off spending their scare promotion money on web promotion.
Web promotion, what do I mean? I mean promoting the owner, you, so that your name and your company name is promoted. So that customers can find you if they know your name and if they are looking for some specific keywords to do with your business. It takes some time, but you can always follow those who will submit you information to thousands of seach engines and millions of this and that, for several hundred dollars or more. I see ads I receive email from them all the time with their amazing offers. Some of them I'm sure are sincere, others are thieves.
I'm finding the best way to increase my personal web exposure, my placement in the search engines is to use the Veretekk system. I have control, I can learn to do and I can to do it myself, or if you have a larger business a member of staff can do it for you. Get started now, I'm here to help you.

Business at Home
Your business at home is serious business. If you take it seriously other members of your family will take it seriously too. Establishing your hours of business as I suggested is very helpful. It helps others it helps you to set boundaries.
Your work space is also important. People live in all sorts of conditions. Even starting their business from computers at the library and then buying their own machine as money allows. There is no wrong way of doing this. Use the most private, the best quiet place you can to do your business. Ordinarily you will need a phone and an interenet connection. I also notice the places where people do their videos usually people try to find a space that is uncluttered and as professional as possible to make their videos. Some however make them on a beach or in other public places depending on the subject and how they choose to promote it.
If possible have an office that is bright and cheery, as quiet as possible and has the equipment that you need, the phone, the computer and papers you may need. Don't be afraid of an office you can always say you started your business at home from the kitchen table.

Business at Home
Business at home is different than when you go out to the office, or shop. We have all seen where people boast about not getting dressed,
not having to go out of the home to do their business. I'm agreeing with that but what I see is that you tend to get trapped into whatever is
going on in the home. You need to establish specific times to be at work and then stay at work, don't allow yourself to be interupted.
Unless you are looking after children. If that is the case the children do come first and you can work around them.
However many of us are older and our children are gone and it is my beloved wife who isn't too concerned about interupting me? Any of you
have this? The answer that worked effectively and got her attention was: I simply asked if the house was on fire. She said it wasn't, I said
good, I'll be out to see you in twenty minutes. This should work equally well on either sex, husbands, wives, partners etc. Especially if they
know ahead of time what the working day is, but they just aren't use to it yet.
As an older fellow I can't/shouldn't sit for more than an hour at a time. Which means I need to move away from my work every so often.
Change your view point, rest your eyes, physically move. This is a good time to interact with others in the home, pet the dog, that sort of
thing. Then back to work, back to promoting business at home.
